April 22
Friendship -
Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative will hold its
19th Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 22 at the Montello High
School. At the business meeting, members will elect directors in
four of 11 districts. Those attending will also hear financial and
operations reports on the cooperative for the past year. The
business meeting will start promptly at 9:30 a.m.
The day will begin with something new - a
pancake breakfast will be served from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m. in the
elementary school gymnasium. The pancake breakfast will be served
in place of a traditional post-meeting lunch.
Prior to the business meeting, cooperative
members will have ample time to register to vote and to enjoy the
entertainment. Back by member request, local entertainer Maggie Mae
will perform in the main gymnasium. Members will also want to visit
several informative displays and take a moment to talk with their
elected representatives.
Attendance gifts will be awarded, and the
meeting will conclude with a drawing for the grand prize: a $350
gift certificate from ACEC. For faster annual meeting registration,
Adams-Columbia members are encouraged to bring the mailing label
